Sorry I haven't been updating, I just have been leading a boring life, or so it seems to me. I started to reread some of my favorite classics, The Fellowship of the Ring, Prisoner of Azkaban (finished) and Goblet of Fire. This because I went and got a bunch of stuff out of storage in the barn.

I sometimes read books starting at the end or middle, and that's sure enough what I started doing with Fellowship and Prisoner. Read to the end of POA, went back to the beginning to the middle. That used to bother the heck out of me that I did that, but now it's just like, so what that's me.

Last month I was headed down the street for a walk, but after just a minute or two, I see Old Friend Tim is coming toward me--with a bouquet of white lilacs. He'd been just staggering back and forth, and insisted he was headed home when I asked whether he was going to visit my bro (John). No, he was going home, and the flowers were for me. Okay, but he was headed for my house, and I away from it. Okay......

Anyway he gave me the flowers and headed for my house again. Poor guy. I don't ever want to have to rely on him for anything ever again, and I don't trust him for a lot of things. But I still enjoy him when he's not shitfaced. I also had a conversation with him about Clarence Thomas and Anton Scalea, the supreme court judges. Thomas is such a jerk, and Scalea, who I'm not that familiar with, is apparently so conservative that even I wouldn't like him.

I'm sure there's more I've been up to, but at any given moment, I guess it's not that exciting. Lol, I actually saw Zoolander a couple weeks ago, got it from the library to watch at Patty's while housesitting. Well, it was funny, one of the stupidest movies I've ever seen. But I laughed.

Seeya!

"I'd take him for what he is worth and whenever he is nice and gives you flowers take them and just enjoy."

Really, that seems to be about it. I guess there is just some good stuff out there sometimes, yeah, enjoy it.

It really is funny how those classics just never seem to get old. I think Deathly Hallows is my favorite so far. To be honest, when I first heard of the HP book series and how popular it was, I just thought it must be crap. The idea of a boy who is told he is really a wizard seemed WAY too sweet. But it not only started out well, for a book with a fairly common-sounding idea, but it just got better and better and better and better. Grown-up magic, I love it.

I first heard about Potter when Jo was on the Rosie show, and it intrigued me. I read it and then tried to pass it off to my 16 year old nephew, and he said 'NO WAY!' Well I talked him into it, and he has been a fan since.

Just a bunch of Potter Geeks we are! lol
