So we all can mutiny
When you wake, we will take
And subject you to scrutiny...

My 'plans' to start looking for a job just have not materialized since I couldn't care any less, would rather run screaming than go to a job interview or even look in the paper for anything. I still live under the belief, as ever, that somehow I'll just come up with something, or it'll land in my lap. I hate hate hate thinking about it.
I checked out Bram Stoker's Dracula a few weeks ago, and loved it. I didn't realize Francis Coppola's movie was so close to the book, wow. Although he had been studying Vampire legends for some time, the idea for the book came in a dream. I'd love to read the details of that, love studying my own dreams.
Right now I'm listening to the Moody Blues, since I've actually been able to land a seat at one of the few computers at the library, so having some fun at least.

Date: 2008-07-12 07:41 am (UTC)I feel you on the job thing. I just got another job after being jobless for a few months. I went through all kinds of hell that sent me to mental hospitals twice and I was found to be bipolar. I am finally coming out of a year long fog and I'm on some good meds that are helping and I just got a job today.
Also I finally quit the distructive drinking. I will drink a beer now and them but I have found that hard alcohol has no effect on me anymore. I'm like immune to it now. It is very strange but awesome to know that I no longer can even get a buzz on alcohol.
I have some new pictures and I'll be uploading them soon.

Date: 2008-07-12 05:43 pm (UTC)Sounds like alcohol is weird stuff. I'm still going to OA, and keep hovering around the same weight. Can't get myself to commit to getting a sponsor yet, but for me that's the way it usually is. I just have to do my best.
