Liz, my same name across the street neighbor, gave me a ride to the library today, which is nice because it's been raining so much, and cold.

I've been veg-ing out almost completely, listening almost incessantly to REM's Around the Sun, which I got from the library. I've never had a CD player before, believe it or not. I forgot how much music means to me. I can't believe I lived without it for years.

Sat. night there was a nasty hit-skip accident in front of our house, totalling one neighbor's car, and clipping another. The driver abandoned the car, with the passenger side airbag inflated and fluid leaking, car still running. They caught him, too.

Today was the first day I've had the courage to look at the court records for the guy who hit me in Febr. '03. Looks like that wasn't the only encounter he's had with the law, but it's hard to tell in some cases what the charges were. Looks like he threatened someone at one point.

I lost at least 10 pounds in the last month, which is a bit scary. But it was so bad before that, nothing was comfortable, all my pants were too tight.

Eh, gotta go, haven't been online in a week, but need to go someplace tonight.
