afufleMind wandering constantly....
I spent an hour today tracking down a journal I accidentally left on the bus Sunday--duh. I had made a photocopy of a magazine article but left my library card in the machine (you pay for copies by loading money on your card, then putting your card in the machine). I realized it later and checked to see if anyoen had turned it in, but no, so I just asked them for a new one, now have a new number with the system. So that was okay. The I realized that though I'd copied the mag. article, I'd also had my journal with me and my Grandmother's photo was in it, meant to copy that too, I've got an oval frame for it, but don't want to cut up the photo to get it in the frame. Then I hopped on the bus, went home and somehow managed to leave the whole journal including the photo on the bus. Guy called me and told me they found it (didnt' realized I'd lost it till then).
So I've got it now and it's only a bit greasy and dirty for the wear. And I'm several very important dollars poorer. And the library closes early tonight, so I feel hurried when there is nothing more I'd like to do than catch up on stuff on the internet.
[edit: maybe my problem on Sunday was that I got a contact high somehow from someone on the bus...& I can't remember what I was going to say, but there was something....duuuuhhhhhh.....]
