hp_manips, her reply, and my would be reply if I could send one, other than just making another entry, which I'm not going to do:

It's from a fanart painting I believe and I got it from a screenshot of a video from You Tube, so I am sorry I can't credit the original artist.

Her reply:"Er, this is an HP Manips Community, you can't post something made with a fanart painting, only made with pictures of the HP Actors, and you can't simply post icon(s). I'm sorry, but I have to delete your post."
My would be reply: "I definitely don't agree with this, this is a photographic quality picture of Alan Rickman as Severus Snape, it does not look like a painting, but like a still from one of the movies. I'm sorry it's small, and it's made in paint, but it's a sight better than some of the stuff that gets posted here by people show have the benefit of expensive photo editing programs. I put a fair amount of effort into blending the second smaller Snape into the background, reverse and staring back at himself.
It does not say in the rules, 'no paintings', and it DOES say, "moving one person closer to another, or putting them on another background" does qualify as a manip, which is what I have done.
I know it's your comm, and it's your business to include what you want, but 100x100 was the size of the original, so yes, it's just icon size, which does not make it a bad manip or bad art.

---anyway, I was ticked because I've seen some raunchy stuff there, lousy stuff there, and certainly other people don't always follow the rules, esp. one very raunchy one with not nearly enough warning that there was big time male genitalia and dildo action in the manip behind the cut, not that it was x-rated, just NC 17. Several people objected and nothing got done about it. Jerk
and I can't use PMs because I don't have a paid account, maybe it's just as well, I need to cool off.
