May. 13th, 2004 02:49 pmI had another dream that applied to dyslexia: this one is really funny: I dreamed I was in the post office, and Orlando and Viggo were going to be there to handcolor some stamps that were based on their LotR characters.
I thought this is not only an impossible task, since there would be way too many stamps printed for just one person to color them all. Why wouldn't they just handcolor the original, or copy of it, and then copy the colored orig.? Why coulnd't they just make a public appearance as the stamps are released to the public? Anyway, Orli got there first, and started to color the clothes of the coloring book image of Legolas. I was thinking his clothes would be green/brown, and Aragorn's would be that really dark green-black that Ngila Dickenson called Aragorn Green. The coloring would be done in crayon, oddly enough.
BUT, as I thought, yes, he's coloring them appropriately in the color I thought, I woke up and realized the color I thought was appropriate was MAGENTA. I actually thought I was seeing green or brown. Right after I woke up, I realized that magenta is one of the brightest colors in the crayon box. Hm. Also, I know Orli is dyslexic. POST reminds me of the boards and journals where I post. Dyslexia makes me think of my mom and how she has dyslexia, and how I thought I read something in a post that definitely wasn't there.
I still wonder how I could have done that. Other people said they've done the same thing, but went back and checked to make sure, found out they were wrong. I wasn't that careful, though I usually am. I don't know what made me so impatient.
