Sorry you are gone, Michael. No, I don't think you are innocent of the charges. I've been following because you are my age, within a year. The first time around your slightly older, big-mouth sister was still accusing your father of molesting all of you. She asked the press: "Why would a 35-year old man hang around with little boys?" According to Maureen Orth, MJ himself said "I don't like little girls, they're tatte-tales". And if you were just a platonic lover of children, why didn't you like little girls? Intelligent reporters picked up on your 7-up can being emptied of soda by your assistants at your order, and filled with "Jesus Juice"--your name for wine; they picked up on your staggering around with it in hand. They picked up on the name you had for your gatherings--the Rub-A-Dub Club.
They figured out your accuser's family was broken up after the charges were leveled, so neither parent was trying to use you as a way to get custody of the kids. Your family's fortune fueled publicity machine managed to really do a great job making that look different. Your sister? The one with the big mouth and the entirely believeable story of your father being a child molester, and the mother who let it all happen, who encouraged her daughter to pose for men's magazines? Well, she found out posing for Playboy wasn't really a good way to support herself, and she's no doubt getting MJ money as a result now. I have more to say about this family, have really dug into this and followed it closely.
Reporters picked up on the "art photos" of boys in their underwear that police found. In fact, I never found any evidence of anyone on the police force in LA having some kind of a grudge against you Michael, or anyone else who would have had the power to get him arrested and investigated twice over a period of years. Why would they bother? I don't remember anyone prosecuting you putting on any act to impress the public or the press to get ahead.
But your were surrounded by people in your family who did the same stuff, surrounded by big-time Hollywood enablers, singers actors directors promoters who all have something significant to hide. They're not going to tell. You were surrounded by reporters and news organizations who hide that stuff all the time. Either they're into all kinds of stuff, or they'll get squelched, fired, never heard from again. From my reading and lots of sources, there is all kind stuff going on in Hollywood.
Anyway, from all his crazy face slashing and addiction and various behavior, I could go on and on and on--I think yeah, he was a child victim and he just passed it right on. It would have been amazing if he could have broken away from all the lack of caring around him, the inaction and the general atmosphere of encouragement to do whatever feels good.
