I just got this question from Gini about "what is it that we can do for you here? --Because I hear from you that you don't want to work, you don't feel like you'll ever be able to support yourself," yadda, yadda. Kind of like she was fed up. Well, what does she want? I just said I feel like that. But she wants me to apply for a disability--which I doubt I'll get. I didn't get a chance to say that I disagree with Dr. Cooper's assessment, that I only have a low-grade depression and that it sometimes spikes downward.

Anyway, it seems like she's (Gini has) a bug up her butt about something I've done or not done. This is the first time I've been there in two sessions that I haven't been sweating madly from rushing around like an idiot. That was basically through the whole sessions. Of course this is the first time it hasn't been really terribly HOT.

I'm thinking about going to see a movie -HPOA, since it's at the cheap theatre, and just paying the consequences later, not have enough to eat. Which I may not anyway. Well, something always comes up, and though I'd like to see HP again, not badly enough to worry about it this much. It's not the money now, it's not being able to go with anyone. That change came fast, didn't it?

I do have to get more food, and I'm not starving and do have vitamins. I guess I'm just worried because I had no means of support.

I got a call from Gallup, the polling agency, yesterday or Monday. They wanted to opinions about the upcoming presidential election. I mostly had to be non committal. I'm reluctant to be for or against George Bush. I feel like we're not only pouring lives out in the middle East, but that we're endangering Americanpeople all over the world. not to mention strangers getting caught in the crossfire. I know the iraquies are not so happy, but they didn't have it very well before we came there, and they have some things better than they were before. Things like education for females and electricity. They also have foreigners occupying their land though. And how involved should we really be in their economy? Their politics.

I don't know.

I made a new background from an LJ layout by tableau. I couldn't plug in the background since I don't have a paid account, so made my own. I figured out how to adjust the width of my entries in friends & journal pages, etc., and think I might have figured out some other things too. Kaycee (now Mrs. Dan Radcliffe!! Heehee!) gave me the codes to use but I couldn't for the life of get it but bit by bit.

My background image is rather pitiful, but maybe I'll get better and what the heck, I made it myself!

I checked out my fine at the library since I left books at V&C's when I left, and some were due. I didn't see them when I went there, and my investigation revealed no charges to my "account" at the public library yesterday. So one of them must have taken them back AND paid the fine. Very nice, esp. after all the nasty things I said about them.

Well, out of time--off to grocery shopping.
