HHHHHH-OOOOOO-TTTT
Aug. 25th, 2004 05:32 pm-THE WEATHER, not Jason or Orli, or Ian for that matter. Sheesh. And I let my app't. go till the last minute again, but not as badly, so I guess not the last minute. Got there in plenty of time, but was mopping up so damned much sweat, which I still am doing. I wonder if that's true what I heard on Queer Eye, that a massage helps flush out the toxins. I was thinking about that all week, and if I'd given myself a massage before dashing up the long hill and doing the long walk thing, whether I'd have sweated out all kinds of nasty stuff.
I wish I could figure out how to replace electrolytes without buying those 'expensive' drinks. Gatorade, etc. I like them, but my budget wants it cheaper. I know there's some sodium, potassium and magnesium, I'm pretty sure. Duh, I've got the internet available, I might just be able to look that up. I took a shower before I left, and gotta take another one.
I saw 2 lizards today, tiny little ones. The first one I thought was the shortes garden snake I'd ever seen, but then I thought I'd seen it had more the features of a lizard. I disappeared so quickly that I was barely sure it wasn't a snake. The second I got a better look at. It was on the way back from Glenway ave. It was definitely a tiny, quick little lizard. Cute. Never seen one in the part of town I lived in, not for the 39 years that I lived there.
I got the birds fed. Jeez, I was beginning to think I wouldn't do anything I should do while I'm here.
