Another Thursday

afufleI need some new vitamins. I have a really cheap bottle of them I bought, and they just don't seem like real vitamins. I keep watching a store that has regular 2 for 1 sales, but they just haven't had one yet. Now is not a good time to order by mail, as I don't know where I'll be in a few weeks.

I dreamed that I was at my Michigan grandparents house, and my mom gave me a white dress with a lumpy white sweater to wear over it. I took off the sweater, and to my surprise the dress was sleeveless, very tasteful, though with my current figure, the bust didn't settle quite right on the chest. I figured the dress would rot or something before I finally got to fit into it. Or it wouldn't fit for some reason. I put in on the chair, so anyone could see it, but I knew in my heart that I would never fit into it without some deus ex machina.
And I surely doubted that would happen.
It was just exquisite, simple but not plain, elegant, somewhere between silk and fine linen. I got some ad about Irish linen work. Whatever. John and I had an argument about something, and I ended up using a hypodermic needle on him. I think he was threatening me or someone else with it, with death. He was way out of line over nothing. Somehow a thin of thin wires which turned out to be a door with a flimsy latch sprung up in the doorway between us. For whatever reason, wew went out on to a patio, which was somehow the patio of a hotel, I guess maybe a dream version of the country club. I went into the pool, which had a special kind of--what's it called, like a water chute. I got on a floating mat and got into the current, and kept going in a figure 8 pattern. It was really peaceful and smooth. I was trying to tell Martha how it works, but I was trying too hard, and a band shell came up to replace the water ride. The band was just going to be a polka type band, old fashioned simple music that I'd find boring. I wished the water ride could come back.
Can't remember if there was anything else than that. Mr. Morrison and Mr. Black were there.

I watched ER this morning, of all shows, I'd gotten kind of sick of it. The character of Abby was interesting, but the rest of it had gotten boring. This was an older ep with Julianna Margulies and Goran Viscnic, and it wasn't bad. Alex Kingston was in it, and even if she irritates, she's still good in that part. I haven't seen her in much else, but I haven't seen her in a bad part.
