Apparently Tent City down by our river was burned down--purposefully. One of my facebook friends said one woman was awakened by the smell of gasoline on her, and a guy was standing over her trying to light a match. The whole place went up, no word on whether anyone got hurt other than losing everything. Sheesh.

On a different note, I'm just posting these two links because a few months ago one of them said they were hardly getting any clicks. I don't know if they are getting much traffic or not, but if you have a minute click away!

Absolutely nuts. I'm having trouble finding any news about it at all. My source was the head of the homeless outreach at church, and she's in contact with people from the tent city near the river all the time. So I'm wondering if the usual news agencies are ignoring this, or what.
