Oh, my goodness. Folks at church were talking about Facebook, and I'm like, sounds good to me. I instantly connected with an old friend and my Al-Anon friend Linda, a couple of my church friends. I wish I'd used Liz instead of Elizabeth as my first name, but I don't feel like deleting and recreating now. I think.
If anyone wants to add me on theirs just PM me, I don't feel like being bold and posting my last name. Though now it's at Facebook I wonder if it'll be all over the internet.
I went to a "knitters and sitters" night last friday, at a cafe up in the college area. Fun. I was restringing a necklace for Oldest Brother's friend. He said I'd "just have to trust friend" on the amount of money. I'm hoping for 5 bucks, and in the nastier part of my brain, just going--if it isn't enough, I cut the string. It mush be a much worn necklace because the beads are really sticky.
I also promised to deliver my mom's American Heart Association envelopes. I keep putting it off, dunno why. It is a good chance to just say hello, seems like I haven't talked to any of them in ages, except across the street neighbor Liz the other day . She 's so nice, but is pretty bad about her son dying last year. Poor baby.
