Happy St. Paddy's

Probably I'm going to the freebie movie tonight, don't know what it is, but it's always kid-oriented. I will play it by ear and see if anyone I know is going to the free spag dinner. I'm avoiding mooching tonight, was really depressed when I just didn't have any money to go to "knitters 'n' sitters'--some people at church have a group of knitters, go to cafes up in the college areas. Knitters welcome, and sitters bring laptop, journal, whatever. Very nice people.

But I feel so bad about mooching. I'd sure like to find a way to start making real money. I was hoping to take my sis' embroidered sweater to 'knitters' tonight, see if anyone wanted it. She had a little hole in a nice cashmere sweater she got at some thrift store, started embroidering over it and kept going. It's really nice, flowers and leaves, and on a blue-green sweater. Wish I had a camera.

Church is doing a free garage sale as an outreach, which is good, I have a few things to throw in for that. So many things hard to let go of, even though I don't use them.

Going through the motions today, distracted and worried by little things. I hate that. Ah, well, time for a long walk.
