We had Xmas with the bro, sis-in-law & niece & nephew who are in town. I made them some watercolor miniboomerangs at the last minute, and they turned out to be the hit of the evening. Cheap and fun. One was the traditional bent-elbow shape, one a cross shape, which had to be curved just a touch in order to work.
The food was great, pork roast a bit dry, but we had the traditional (For my part of the world) green bean + mushroom soup + batter-fried onion casserole. I LOVE green beans, they are my fave vegetable.
Jim, my out of town bro, and his wife Francoise called on Christmas. Other than that, I vegged out and stayed on a sugar and coffee binge. This place is so weird and depressing somehow. Martha is really hitting the junk food pretty heavily, so she doesn't look anorexic for the first time in years. Lillie (in town sis in law) gained back a lot of the weight she lost when she was really concentrating on it, and I have put on the pounds since Thanksgiving. Still in the right pants size, but they're tighter. I have to say, I'm not used to having plenty, so when I get the chance to pig out...I do!
I have a new default icon--someone posted Eliza Dushku bases and I couldn't resist adding some text to a couple. ED has such attitude, but she's funny.
