grub is a money spender thing
Nov. 18th, 2004 04:11 pmI figured out why I lose so many darn things; I really thought I was going nuts, mentally incompetant, whatever. I've been losing items like gloves, scarves, books, a watch (an OLD one), sweatshirts, etc. for the last few years now. It finally hit me the other day that in addition to being unhappy and depressed for a long time, and by now being so convinced that I'll just lose all kinds of things, my eyes haven't been what they used to be for a long time now. My peripheral vision is really bad. I didn't know I depended so much on visual clues to stay organized, but there you are, I do or I have been.
Strange to be relieved, but it's better to know it's a physical symptom than to be convinced that it's mental and after all my frustration I still can't control my thoughts. It's my eyesight I have to improve. It's been forever that I've had new glasses, and though I don't like the whole process and don't know where I'll get the money, I've got to get new ones.
Here's lo-o-o-o-o-o-ng interview with JK Rowling, online. It revealed much to me:
( Q.Is Remus a pureblood? A. Half-blood. )
