afufleI am not even unpacked yet. I guess it's taking me a bit to realize I've got closet and drawer space. The sink is full of dishes, too. Ah, well.
I dreamed last night that I was Lindsay Lohan in a movie, only I looked like Reese Witherspoon. I saw a pink and grey canvas leopard print purse that looked to me to be pretty cheap; this was at someplace like a Walmart or K-mart. I decided to take it since I didn't have the $$$ with me, and it was the last one left.
I, or she, was very clever about how to steal it, went through the till line where a clerk had gone off to check on something; people were just using it to exit the store, since it was very very crowded. I hid the tags really well, slinging thing over my shoulder, hiding the tags under my chignon. ( :) ). As I went to go for the door, I dragged the thing on the ground a bit with my other packages, the way only a person who owned the thing for a while would do--not worried about it scraping the ground a bit.
I got home and began digging cash out of my dresser. Oddly this was to pay for it. I don't know how. One of my sisters, older, saw me, but I think I was able to keep my secret. As long as I was able to be "honest" about it, it was okay. But when I first decided to grab it, I was thinking more like, 'well, everybody does it once. Also, I had an older brother, which somehow made me have the charming personality to carry it off.
The character reminded me of Kaycee being undecided. She sometimes talks about her shopping trips in journal entries. Reminds me of me--using money meant for one thing to buy something you hadn't known was going to be for sale.
The weird thing is that both Heidi and Kaycee posted today about buying something they had dreamed of wearing a few days ago.
I read in one dream dictionary that seeing an empty handbag means being broke soon. Luckily, the bag was at least stuffed to the gills with tissue, and had other smaller bags in it. (Like a makeup kit, I think.)
