afufleThe cat, Mrs. Nelson, sat on the computer desk's keyboard ledge, and it didn't even occur to me she's too heavy for that. She was just so cute sitting there. It came crashing down. It looks fixable, but maybe it upset me a bit; I tried making popcorn in the microwave and it burned. And I broke a plate concurrently--thought I'd best have it in there--ha. I feel pretty careless. I had a lot of anxiety about being here alone, and it's been in the back of my mind that I'll surely do something incredibly stupid.
Yesterday when I got back to Mom's, after giving my self as much time as I needed to finish any last minute stuff at Virginia's, I went up to where I had been sorting out stuff from my bathroom shelves to be thrown out (you get some free facial cleansing product, or you try something new, use it about 3x, and let it sit there 10 years, y'know), and everything I'd set on the chair had been knocked to the floor. Brother John, of course. Angry son of a bitch. Jeez, how fucking mature and suave.
Not that I was keeping one bit of what was there, but he didn't know that. Well, I'm glad it was just that.
I got online after only a little trouble figuring out how this computer works, then started going through my friends page. It's been 3 or 4 days, I think. mesmerizeicons had my request ready, though I'm not sure if the computer saved it. It told me I'd done something illegal, but I couldn't find the file after I got offline. Guess I could check on that now, quickly.
Huh, weird, they are there. Wonder why I couldn't find them offline. ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Oh, well.truffle_shuffle is getting better at icon-making. Wonder if she's going to have an icon journal sometime soon.
Okay, time to look around again. I'm sure I didn't get to all the entries on my friend's list, and this comp. is dialup, I guess. I know little about it, but that downloads are mostly quite SLOW.
